One-Click Receptionist — Terms of Service 📞

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of One-Click Receptionist ("OCR"), an AI-powered call answering and routing service.

By creating an account or using OCR, you agree to these Terms.

If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The Service

OCR provides:

  • AI-powered call answering
  • Call routing, summaries, transcripts
  • SMS / WhatsApp follow-ups (where enabled)
  • Dashboard access to call data
  • Optional integrations (e.g., CRM, calendar, webhook)

OCR is not a human receptionist service.

OCR uses third-party infrastructure (including telephony providers, hosting providers, and AI model providers). Availability depends on those systems.

3. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be 18+
  • Have authority to bind your business (if registering on behalf of a company)
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Comply with UK telecom and data laws (or applicable laws in your jurisdiction)

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use OCR:

  • For illegal activity
  • For fraud, impersonation, harassment, or abuse
  • To place or receive scam or misleading calls
  • To transmit unlawful, harmful, or prohibited content
  • In violation of telecom regulations (e.g., robocall abuse)

OCR reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI Limitations

OCR uses AI systems.

You acknowledge:

  • AI responses may contain errors.
  • Transcripts and summaries may not be perfectly accurate.
  • OCR does not guarantee legal, medical, or financial advice.
  • You remain responsible for business decisions made based on OCR output.

AI is a tool. You are the operator.

6. Call Recording & Consent

You are responsible for:

  • Informing callers if calls are recorded.
  • Complying with UK GDPR, PECR, and applicable recording laws.
  • Ensuring lawful basis for storing and processing call data.

OCR provides technical capability. Compliance remains your responsibility.

7. Fees & Payments

  • Pricing is displayed in-app or on our website.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, App Store).
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension.

Refunds are provided at OCR's discretion unless required by law.

8. Data & Privacy

OCR processes:

  • Call audio
  • Transcripts
  • Caller metadata
  • Business configuration data

Data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of your business data.

OCR may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve system performance.

9. Service Availability

OCR aims for high uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Service may be suspended for:

  • Maintenance
  • Security issues
  • Telecom provider outages
  • Regulatory requirements

OCR is not liable for losses caused by downtime.

10. Intellectual Property

OCR software, branding, and systems remain the property of One-Click Receptionist.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer the service
  • Resell or white-label without written permission
  • Copy branding or proprietary materials

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • OCR is provided "as is".
  • OCR's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding 3 months.
  • OCR is not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Nothing excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

12. Termination

You may cancel at any time.

OCR may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You misuse the service
  • Payment fails

Upon termination, access to data may be limited after a reasonable retention period.

13. Modifications

OCR may update these Terms periodically.

Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notice.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise required by law.
